Growing up with parents working in a rural Illinois hospital, Nirav has long been exposed to challenges in medical transport. He began his career at IBM and Electronic Arts and subsequently led a number technology startups to success. Nirav holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from MIT Sloan.

For his wheelchair-bound grandfather, Charles has personally dealt with the inefficiencies in securing NEMT services. A senior software engineer at leading technology companies including AmEx, dailymotion, and Better.com, Charles holds a BA from Tufts and a graduate degree from Columbia University.

Growing up with parents working in a rural Illinois hospital, Nirav has long been exposed to the challenges in medical transport. Learning first-hand about the unfortunate outcomes of not receiving the care needed because of something as basic as not having access to a vehicle or an affordable transportation option, is what drove Nirav into starting a NEMT Software business.
He knew that the more NEMT businesses out there, the more access would become available, especially in these rural areas, for people to receive the transportation required to get to the care they — at times, most desperately — needed.
As an entrepreneur-minded business owner, Nirav also wanted to inspire and intrigue other entrepreneurial folks to shift gears and get into the NEMT business to further the point above. Because it’s simple, the more NEMT businesses equates to more caregiving to those who needed it.

Charles has personally dealt with the inefficiencies in securing NEMT services, when caring for his wheelchair-bound grandfather. He understood a lot of these medical transport shortcomings were not necessarily to be blamed on human error and life’s inevitable mishaps, but because there wasn’t (yet) a NEMT savvy and easy-to-use system on the market that supported NEMT fleet scheduling- and management-optimization, and did it well — all under one dashboard.
And so he felt called to build and design a simple software that would support NEMT business owners in streamlining their business more efficiently. This way everyone’s grandparents and loved ones — no matter if they have regular appointments or just need to get to that one-off check up — can make it to their medical appointments on time. Hassle and headache free.
